My darling dog is dying...

Perhaps, some people would just say, ”well, it’s just a dog.”

Well, of course, they are right, but my Harriet is not just a dog, she is my friend, she cheers me up when I am sad and alone, she seems to know when I am hurting...perhaps I am just using her as a crutch because people around me don’t see my sadness and maybe to them I am just a person who is busy, a person who is just trying to get through life without messing up... she never judges me…

My Harriet puts up with me and is there for me and we are a team, me and her. We have been together for 11 years, through thick and thin…through laughter through tears...and NO PERSON COULD HAVE BEEN MORE THERE MORE FOR ME THAN MY HARRIET...NOBODY!

She has terminal Cancer and I won’t accept it, she is still funny, greedy and cuddly and my best friend.

How can I pick up the phone and tell the vet to come and end her life…I would rather it was me.
