Thank goodness it’s not just me that is angry about MY RADIO 2…I know we can’t always live in the past but when the past is good and brings happiness to so many people what is bad about it?
Like many people who listen to the wonderful radio I have my routine. Those brilliant broadcasters were my friends, that sounds pathetic I know but although I’m pretty OLD, I am still working, I’m a writer, and am jumping up and down on my zimmer frame (joke)…I am so angry about the clean sweep the BBC have done without at least asking the several million listeners their opinion. How dare they turn their backs on us!
NOW we are landed with ‘men’ who can’t speak properly and have no experience at all…where did they find them…the job centre?
If BBC are trying to get rid of us loyal listeners then they have succeeded BUT if they think the ‘young’ people want to listen to Radio 2 I think not...they are streaming music and are glued to their phones!
What was wrong with taking wonderful Steve Wright and Ken Bruce etc and starting up a programme for the ‘PAST YOUR SELL BY DATE’ listeners. Surely after being so loyal for so long we can expect something from the BBC?
